Sebastian Vettel's Formula One dream is in tatters after the four-time world champion confirmed he will leave Ferrari at the end of the 2020 season.
The German, 32, had been locked in talks for several months over extending his £36million-a-year contract beyond its current expiry date at the end of the year.
But Vettel, who has largely underwhelmed since linking up with the famous Scuderia in 2015, has announced the two no longer share the same long-term vision and will part ways after six seasons together.
It leaves his F1 future hanging in the balance and Vettel, whose four title crowns were clinched with Red Bull, has previously suggested he would hang up his helmet at the end of the year.
