PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating a shooting in Logan that left a woman dead in the Logan section of Philadelphia. According to authorities, the incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. on the 5100 block of N 12th Street. Officials say officers responded to the area and found a 26-year-old woman lying on the highway.

Cyclist dies after being run over by bus while heading to work in Panadura

COLOMBO (News 1st); A cyclist died after he was run over by a bus in Panadura on Thursday (23) morning.Reports suggested that reckless driving on the part of the bus driver resulted in the death of a father of two.40-year-old Ruwan Priyankara was serving as a civil employee at the Panadura Army Camp.As usual, he left for work on his bicycle, however, he was only able to reach the Cross Junction in Panadura.A private bus operating on route 452 from Thotupala to Panadura had collided with his bicycle.Eyewitness accounts revealed that the handle of the bicycle came into contact with the body of the bus, and thus pulling the rider to the ground.
