Much-loved actress, Peggy Pope, passed away this week at the age of 91. The sad news was confirmed by her family to the Hollywood Reporter.

They also clarified that her death was not COVID-19 related. Peggy's most well-known role was that of the funny secretary, Margaret, in the hit film, co-starring Dolly Parton, 9 to 5.

That said, Peggy was a Hollywood veteran who enjoyed a long and exciting 60-year career. After breaking out on Broadway, she made her film debut in the 1971 Paul Sorvino film Made For Each Other.

After starring in movies, Peggy then entered the world of television, landing the role of Elaine Fusco in Calucci's Department.
