We have bad news for Strictly fans — it looks like there may not be a season in 2020 at all! The current health pandemic has put the BBC series in crisis due to the nature of the show.

Show bosses fear the next series of Strictly may have to be postponed to early next year. According to The Mail on Sunday, BBC executives have held several crisis meetings over how they will attract contestants.

The concerns are valid as it looks like social distancing rules look set to remain for months. And if the series does go ahead, the show may have no live studio audience which really adds to the atmosphere of the show!
