PHILADELPHIA - A 22-year-old man is in critical condition after the car he was driving flipped over in an embankment in Olney, according to police. Authorities say the incident happened on the 400 block of East Olney Avenue around 3:50 a.m.

Philadelphia Police Cruiser PHILADELPHIA - Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department are looking into several violent incidents that left at least six people injured Friday night and Saturday morning. According to Philadelphia police, officers with the 25th District responded to the 1200 block of West Silver Street around 9:54 p.m. A 26-year-old man was found inside a residence on the 2700 block of North 11th Street with multiple gunshot wounds, police say. He was transported to Temple University Hospital where he is in stable condition, according to officials. At 10:44 p.m., officers responded to the 7900 block of Roosevelt Boulevard and found a 28-year-old with a graze wound to the chest, authorities say. Officials say, the shooting incident happened on the 2600 block of Ryan Avenue and the victim is in stable condition at Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital. At 12:30 a.m., a shooting victim flagged down police on the 3600 block of Roosevelt Boulevard with a gunshot wound to the buttocks, according to police. Authorities say the shooting happened near Harbison Avenue and Comly Street and the man is at Albert Einstein Medical Center in stable condition. One hour later, officers with the 16th district responded to a call for a shooting victim in a vehicle at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, police say. According to police, the shooting happened on the 5100 block of Haverford Avenue and a 25-year-old man was shot in the thigh. He is in stable condition, police say. ___MORE LOCAL HEADLINESOfficials say a 40-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a car on the 2300 block of North 22nd Street around 1:33 a.m. According to authorities, a person was driving southbound on 22nd Street when it veered

UPPER DARBY, Pa. - A man has died after he was shot and killed in an apparent road rage incident in Upper Darby Friday morning, law enforcement sources tell FOX 29’s Steve Keeley. The incident began around 8 a.m. on the 600 block of Lansdowne Avenue near Upper Darby High School.Sources say the victim, a 57-year-old man, was found unconscious behind the wheel of a vehicle at Lansdowne Avenue and Winding Way.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say a store employee shot and killed a would-be robber who brandished a fake gun Thursday night in North Philadelphia. Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the Dollar General on the 900 block of West Girard Avenue just before 9 p.m. for reports of an armed robbery. Police Inspector D.F.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect they say attacked and robbed a man as he walked home in Roxborough last week. The incident occurred on March 16 around 7 p.m.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police say a man has died after a shooting during an apparent home burglary in Frankford. Police responded to a call on the 4200 block of Frankford Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Officers entered the property and found the 58-year-old victim laying inside the doorway at the back of the apartment.Police say he had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

DETROIT (FOX 2) - The Detroit Police Department has arrested two people in what they're calling a case of mistaken identity that ended with a 20-year-old woman shot and killed on the city's east side.Ciera Wells celebrated her 20th birthday on Sunday. FALLS TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Authorities in Bucks County say they are investigating an attempted child luring that took place late last week. Falls Township police say the incident occurred Friday between 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.Police say a female Pennsbury High School Student told them she was walking home on the 100 block of South Queen Anne Drive when she was approached by a man in a vehicle. The girl stated that the man repeatedly asked her if she needed a ride, but she refused.

PHILADELPHIA - Minutes after an alleged robbery turned deadly in Olney, officers were called to another fatal shooting in the area. According to police, 35th District officers responded around 1:30 a.m. Officers were handling the robbery case at the intersection of N 5th Street and W Olney Avenue when they heard gunshots coming from the intersection of N 5th Street and W Champlost Avenue, police say. According to authorities, additional units responded to the 6000 block of N 5th Street and found a shooting victim inside of a parked car. Police say a man was slumped in the driver's seat of an Infiniti with multiple bullet holes in the driver's side window. The driver, a 49-year-old man, was unresponsive and police say he was shot once in the face and several times in the torso. Authorities say medics transported him to Einstein Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:10 a.m. Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small says the man was shot while sitting in the driver's seat because the car was hit by gunfire more than 10 times. Police are investigating a shooting in Olney that left one man dead.  A total of 28 spent shell casings were found just outside of the vehicle, Small says. Investigators say the bullets were fired from two separate caliber semi-automatic guns. Small says when the victim was taken to the hospital, a gun was found on his waistband. "It appears that although he had a gun, it appears that he never had a chance to use that weapon because it was still in his waistband when he arrived at the hospital," Small says. According to police, several cameras were active in the area during the time of the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing and active. ___MORE LOCAL HEADLINES___DOWNLOAD: FOX 29 NEWS

PHILADELPHIA - A suspected robber was shot and killed early Tuesday morning after a man took his gun and shot him with it, police say. According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, around 1 a.m., 35th district officers responded to reports of two shooting victims in the smoke shop on the 5300 block of 5th Street. As officers were responding to that call, they received another call for a shooting victim inside of a car on W Olney Avenue, police say. Authorities say when officers responded to the smoke shop, no victims were inside, but it was clear there was a shooting scene due to spent shell casings and blood. Officers found an unresponsive shooting victim in the passenger seat of a Toyota with gunshot wounds to the groin and thigh and he was pronounced dead around 1:15 a.m., Small says. Police say the Toyota the man was in was stolen last week from the 24th District. Investigators say they learned there was a robbery in the smoke shop, with the deceased shooting victim matching the description of the robber. "We believe while that robbery was taking place someone fired shots striking the perpetrator who was the male inside the Toyota who was pronounced dead," Small says. "That's our preliminary information." Philadelphia police are investigating after a shooting at a smoke shop in Olney.  Police also say another shooting victim, a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound in the shoulder, showed up at the hospital. According to authorities, he was also shot inside the smoke shop on 5th Street. "At this point, we believe there was a robbery inside the smoke shop.

PHILADELPHIA - Two teenagers showed up to a Philadelphia hospital after police say they were both shot Monday night in Point Breeze. According to investigators a 17-year-old boy and girl were driven to Methodist Hospital by private vehicle after they were shot on the 1700 block of South 18th Street. The teenage boy was shot once in the hip and the girl was struck in the shoulder, police said. She was brought by ambulance to another medical center that police did not share. Authorities said both wounded teens were placed in stable condition. No arrests were reported immediately following the double shooting.

Moore Avenue just before 10 p.m.

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - Police in Camden County have located a teenager with autism who went missing over the weekend. Police say the 16-year-old was reported missing after last being seen on Sunday morning at 6:00 a.m. The teen was seen at his residence on the 3700 block of Garfield Avenue. Later that day, he was seen on surveillance video at 4:00 p.m.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police say they are searching for three teenage suspects an attempted robbery and double shooting in South Philadelphia Sunday morning. The incident occurred in an alleyway behind several homes on the 2700 block of South Randolph Street around 3 a.m. Sunday. Police say three men in their 20s were walking in the alley when they were approached by three teenage boys who were demanding money. A brief struggle ensued and one of the suspects fired multiple shots, striking two of the older male victims.

PHILADELPHIA - Two people were injured after a gunman opened fire into a group of people in North Philadelphia, according to authorities. Police say the incident happened early Saturday morning around 1:45 a.m. Officers with the 22nd district responded to a report of a shooting on the 1800 block of W. Diamond Street, according to police. Officers met a group of pedestrians who alerted them that two people were shot, authorities say. According to police, a 19-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man suffered from gunshot wounds. Both say they were standing on the street when a car, possibly orange or red in color, stopped in the street and let out a passenger, authorities say. Police say the victims told investigators the passenger who exited the car had a gun and began firing into the crowd of people standing at the location. The suspect got back into the car before it drove westbound on Diamond Street, according to investigators. Both injured victims were transported to the hospital where the woman, who was shot in the foot, is in stable condition.

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (FOX 2) - Federal investigators indicted a Grand Rapids man in an alleged murder-for-hire plot from a little more than a year ago, in which he was paid just $300 for shooting the woman after originally being contracted for $10,000.According to the indictment filed Wednesday an unidentified co-conspirator offered Andre Sims of Grand Rapids $10,000 to kill a Sterling Heights woman back in November 2020."Can you imagine if this happened to you or someone in your family?" said Sterling Heights Police Chief Dale Dwojakowski.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police have released video they say shows a vehicle linked to the shooting death of a 37-year-old woman in Strawberry Mansion earlier this month. The shooting occurred on Tuesday, March 1 on the 3400 block of West Huntingdon Street.Police responded to the scene and found a woman on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head.

PHILADELPHIA - Police have released new video showing the moment a man was shot and killed as he sat in traffic at a red light in Philadelphia’s Oxford Circle neighborhood. The incident happened back on March 8 around 8:45 a.m. on the 6400 block of Loretto Street. Video of the incident shows the victim, 18-year-old Levan Kennedy, sitting in traffic at a red light in his sedan. Then, police say a BMW SUV drove into the oncoming lane of traffic and fired multiple shots into the driver’s side window.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police say a homeowner fatally shot a man who police say was trespassing in his backyard and broke into his SUV using a brick. Officers responded to the scene shortly after 10:30 p.m. for a shooting call and found a 23-year-old laying on the ground between two houses near 44th and Fairmount.The man had been shot multiple times in the torso and chest area and was taken to the hospital where he later died. Police tell FOX 29 the man had entered a backyard and broke into an SUV by throwing a brick through the window.The 49-year-old homeowner confronted the trespasser and police say he fired multiple shots, striking the 23-year-old suspect.

Akhil Crumpton OCONEE COUNTY, Ga. - Law enforcement authorities have arrested a former UGA football player identified as the suspect in the murder of an Oconee County RaceTrac gas station employee.Elijah Wood, 23, was working the overnight shift at the RaceTrac located in the 7900 block of Macon Highway on March 19, 2021. A masked gunman walked into the store, pointed his handgun at Wood, and pulled the trigger around 1:40 a.m., investigators said.After nearly a year of searching, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office say they were notified in February by agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms of a ballistic match used in Wood's murder.
