PHILADELPHIA - Officers with the Philadelphia Police Department are investigating a carjacking and shooting in Frankford that took place on Sunday. According to police, the incident happened on the 1400 block of E Cheltenham Avenue at 4:46 a.m. Authorities say 27-year-old Raheem Bell was shot once in the stomach during a reported carjacking. He was transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle. A 27-year-old man is in critical condition after police say he was shot during a carjacking in Frankford.

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation responded to the scene of a deadly shooting involving law enforcement in Savannah.Savannah police were called to the intersection of Oglethorpe Avenue and McDonough Street around 3:41 a.m. Sunday morning to investigate a fight between two men.Officers found a man in all black clothing "talking irrationally and carrying a makeshift weapon" on nearby Abercorn Street.

RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas - A murder charge against a 26-year-old Texas woman will be dropped, says 229th Judicial District Attorney Gocha Allen Ramirez, who serves Starr, Jim Hogg and Duval counties.In a release, Ramirez says he reached out to Lizelle Herrera's counsel to say that his office would be filing a motion to dismiss the indictment against her on Monday, April 11. According to Ramirez, a review of applicable Texas law showed that Herrera "cannot and should not be prosecuted for the allegation against her."
