Molly-Mae Hague has hit back at haters online who claimed she only wanted a puppy 'for the Instagram likes'. The 21-year-old Love Island star was bought a Pomeranian puppy by her boyfriend Tommy Fury last week, but she was in tears as she revealed that their four-legged friend had passed away.

Speaking in a YouTube video, an emotional Molly-Mae cried as she revealed the fate of Mr Chai, saying: "He was our baby." She also claimed that boxer Tommy had been sick when told about the dog's death while she thought that the news was a prank and didn't believe it to begin with.

The pair had been accused on social media of having the puppy shipped over from Russia as an 'accessory' and it was just for media hype.
