The founder of a law that aims to stop puppy farming is calling for an investigation into the death of Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s puppy.
The Love Island couple have been left heartbroken after their four and a half month old Parmanian called Mr Chai, who they bought for Molly-Mae’s birthday, died after just a few days of owning him.
They faced a backlash for importing the pup from Russia in the middle of a pandemic, rather than buying or adopting from the UK.
And now Lucy's Law creator, vet Marc Abraham, makes it illegal for third party dealers, such as pet shops and online traders, to sell puppies, wants an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the pup’s death.
