A teenager told by doctors her tumour was incurable after a cancer fight spanning years, has seen miraculous results after taking a wonder drug.
Kira Noble, 16, has seen treatment gradually increase in difficulty over time having suffered half a dozen relapses since being diagnosed with neuroblastoma at the age of just 11.
She has battled through 20 rounds of chemotherapy as well as several other forms of painstaking treatment. At the beginning of 2019, Kira was given the devastating news that her illness was "incurable but treatable", reports the Daily Record.
However, last April she was put on experimental drug Lorlatinib, said to be have far less side effects than chemotherapy, and has experienced a huge turnaround.
