Leroy Sane 'exchanged a 30-minute phone call' with Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick ahead of a possible transfer, according to reports in Germany.
The Manchester City winger has been a top target for the German champions since last summer but a transfer was held up due to a knee ligament injury.
Sane has missed all of the current season after sustaining the problem in August's Community Shield with Liverpool. After months of recovery the German is now back to full fitness but has been unable to play due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite Bayern having a change of manager since last summer, with Flick taking over from Niko Kovac, Bayern are still interested in Sane.
