Teenage boy among latest Manitoba COVID-19 deaths

COVID-19 in Manitoba, the province announced Wednesday, and one of them was a teenage boy from the Winnipeg area.The second death was a Winnipeg man in his 50s.

The province didn’t release any further information about the teen who died.Public health officials announced 250 new cases Wednesday — 136 of which were in the provincial capital — but test positivity rates are down provincewide, including 0.5 per cent in Manitoba overall and 0.3 per cent in the city.

Manitoba loosens COVID-19 restrictions to allow small outdoor gatherings Hospitalizations also saw a decrease, dropping to 323, or 14 fewer Manitobans in care.
