Two bikers have been arrested after around 150 people turned up for a funeral during lockdown and a teenager was left fighting for his life.
The 17-year-old suffered head injuries after he was hit by a motorbike during the gathering where mourners ignored social distancing rules in Murston, near Sittingbourne in Kent, on Thursday morning.
Police say they were given "very little notice" of the funeral taking place and and shocked eye-witnesses described a helicopter ambulance landing near the scene.
One eye-witness, who asked to remain anonymous, said: "It looked as if someone had been hit by a motorbike. "There were lots of bikes in the road.
