Kate Garraway has opened up about the "heartbreaking and emotionally draining" time her family have been having as her husband fights for his life.
The Good Morning Britain host gave an update on husband Derek Draper's condition last week. The former Labour advisor is in a coma and unable to have any of his family visit him in intensive care.
Derek has been battling coronavirus in intensive care since March 30 but the 52-year-old took a turn for the worse after being rushed to hospital with severe symptoms of COVID-19.
Kate, 52, said that she and the couple's children Darcey, 14, and William, 11, have been forced to stay away from his ICU and haven't seen him in person for nearly a month.
