Ten people die in Covid care home outbreak as 68 staff and residents test positive

Ten people have tragically died after a Covid outbreak in a Scottish care home which saw 68 residents and staff test positive for the bug.

NHS Fife has said it worked closely with Mossview Care Home in Lochgelly in Scotland to prevent the spread of the virus and offer support.

It comes as the deadline set by the Scottish Government to have all care home residents, frontline workers and over-80s vaccinated arrived yesterday.

The cluster of cases saw ten people tragically die and 25 residents and 43 staff test in the care home positive for the virus.
