Tesco changes Clubcard points expiration date – and it's easier for shoppers

Tesco is extending the amount of time Clubcard holders have to redeem their reward points. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the supermarket has decided to give customers at least six months longer.

This will be relief to those who have points set to expire in May. Rewards that currently aren’t applicable include restaurant vouchers and pub tokens.

This is because the establishments are closed at the moment. Thankfully, if you can’t redeem your rewards you can wait until later in the year instead.

Tesco outlined the Clubcard changes on its website. In the FAQs section, a spokesperson explained: “We're extending all Clubcard vouchers expiring in May 2020 for a further 6 months. “These vouchers will now have a new expiry date of 30 November
