FILMING on the latest Batman blockbuster has been thrown into chaos after a case of Covid-19 within its stunt team. The £90million movie’s daredevils have been told to isolate away from the set for at least 14 days after the positive test.
Main cast members, including Robert Pattinson, 34, as the Caped Crusader, are unaffected. But hopes of shooting high-octane scenes around the Gotham City set at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, Herts, have been put on hold.
Sources say the stunt team of ten — who were in a bubble — may not return until Christmas. One insider on The Batman, due for release in March 2022, said: “It’s pretty disastrous.” Pattinson began filming his first scenes as Bruce Wayne at the start of the year.
