The Crown season 5 has paused filming. Production for the hit Netflix series has been halted after eight crew members have tested positive for COVID-19, per the Daily Mail. Click inside to read more… According to the outlet, the crew members are now quarantining.
It’s expected that filming will start back up in January. “The Crown finished filming one day earlier than planned for the Christmas break following a few positive cases within the team, thus ensuring others’ safety and so that everyone on production can enjoy a festive break with their loved ones,” a spokesperson told ET Canada.
The fifth season will be set in the 1990s, with Imelda Staunton playing Queen Elizabeth and Jonathan Pryce playing Prince Philip.
