The number of people who have been discharged from Fairfield Hospital after recovering from coronavirus

More than 100 people who needed treatment for Covid-19 at Fairfield Hospital have returned home after recovering from the virus.

Pennine Acute Trust, which runs the hospital, said a total of 110 patients who tested positive for coronavirus have been declared fit to return home since the pandemic began.

Nineteen of those patients were discharged within the last week. However, the trust would not reveal the exact number of people who have died from coronavirus at the hospital, in Bury.
