A coronavirus survivor has shared a harrowing account of her experience of the disease - in a bid to convince the public to stay at home.
Yvonne Campbell, a business manager at Manchester city council, has been ill for more than twelve days with the virus. She said she suffered only 'mild symptoms' at first but they gradually got worse and she was rushed into hospital via an ambulance last week.
Thankfully Yvonne, 49, has come through the worst of Covid-19 thanks to the fantastic efforts of NHS staff at Royal Oldham hospital, especially a medic called Bea who 'can't do enough' for patients.
But she warned others not to underestimate the seriousness of the virus saying she often feared she would not make it through the night.
