PHILADELPHIA - Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department are searching for three suspects accused of robbing a man at a Philadelphia gas station before fleeing in a stolen car.

According to police, the robbery happened on August 12 at 9:30 a.m. at a Shell gas station on the 4200 block of Ridge Avenue.

Authorities say three unknown males approached another man and threatened to shoot him. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESThe suspects also struck the man in the face, demanding his wallet and keys, according to authorities.

Police say the suspects then fled in a silver Chevrolet that was later recovered and police learned it was in stolen status.

(Al)ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - A suspect is still on the loose after a man was shot to death in Atlantic City last week, according to the prosecutor's office.Officials say 31-year-old Jordan Eaddy, of Philadelphia, was killed during a shooting on the 1300 block of Baltic Avenue on Thursday.Two Atlantic City men have been charged in connection to the deadly shooting: 32-year-old Aaron Callahan and 47-year-old Kenneth Creek.MORE HEADLINES:Callahan was arrested without incident for murder and related charges.Police are still looking for Creek, who is also wanted for murder.

PHILADELPHIA - A man is dead and a 14-year-old boy is injured after police say two suspects fired several shots into a car at a gas station in North Philadelphia Tuesday morning.The 38-year-old man was reportedly found dead in the passenger seat when officers responded to Conoco gas station on the 2800 block of Broad Street.Police say the double shooting rang out when a 2002 Nissan Ultima pulled up to get gas with a man, woman and two children inside.When the woman went into the store, police say two masked men approached and fired several shots into the car. They believe the passenger may have been targeted.He was pronounced dead on the scene after being shot multiple times throughout the body, according to police. One of the children, a 14-year-old boy suffered a gunshot to the arm, and is said to be in stable condition at a local hospital.

TRENTON, N.J. - The gas tax in New Jersey will fall by a penny a gallon, or about 2% — the second straight year the levy has declined, Gov. Phil Murphy's administration said Monday.The tax rate combines two different levies that are commonly known as the gas tax in the state and would fall from 42.4 cents a gallon to 41.4 cents."Because actual consumption in Fiscal Year 2022 was moderately above our projections made last August, and consumption in the current fiscal year is projected to be slightly above last fiscal year’s levels, our analysis of the formula dictates a 1.0 cent decrease this coming October," said State Treasurer Elizabeth Maher Muoio in a statement.
