Tom Hanks is hoping that he can become a main player in fighting coronavirus after beating Covid-19 while filming in Australia.
Alongside his wife Rita Wilson, the 63-year-old Forrest Gump star has donated blood and plasma to coronavirus research after discovering that they have the antobodies.
Now the Hollywood star is hoping that can develop a 'Hanks-cinne' that will put an end to the global pandemic. Tom and Rita returned to Los Angeles at the end of March after being quarantined Down Under for several weeks, after contracting the potentially fatal virus.
Speaking on NPR's podcast Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! Tom gave an update as to how he and Rita are now feeling in the aftermath of coronavirus.
