Tom Hanks joined the likes of Stephen Colbert and Darren Criss, as well as My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend stars, to pay tribute. Tom – who recently battled coronavirus alongside wife Rita Wilson – worked with Adam on 1996 movie That Thing You Do!
and referenced the movie’s fictional band, The Oneders, in his tweet. Sharing a tribute, Tom wrote overnight: ‘There would be no Playtone without Adam Schlesinger, without his That Thing You Do!
