Tottenham suffer major injury blow ahead of Manchester United fixture

Manchester United this week. After a break of over three months due to the coronavirus pandemic the Premier League is set to resume on Wednesday and United will face Jose Mourinho's Spurs side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday for their first game back in action.

However, Tottenham will be without highly-rated defender Tanganga after he suffered a stress fracture in his back during preparations for the return, according to the Telegraph .

The 21-year-old has emerged as one of Spurs' best prospects this season and started six of their eight Premier League games before the hiatus.The injury will leave Mourinho short on options at right-back, with Serge Aurier the only fit player in that position.
