Tributes have been flooding in for much-loved Liverpool stadium worker Paul Smith, who has died from coronavirus. Mr Smith passed away on Thursday after losing his battle with the deadly virus, and his death has clearly affected a great number of people connected with the club.
The likes of Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher sent messages of support to the Carlsberg lounge host last week, who had worked at Anfield for 28 years in a variety of roles.
Gerrard said: "I've been told you've been in hospital recently, and you're quite poorly. "It's important, mate, you keep fighting, you stay strong and be as brave as you can.
