Following weeks of customer complaints regarding issues getting refunds for summer 2020 holidays, TUI has now set the record straight and apologised.
The package holiday giant today emailed customers a letter of apology, and has promised to help people get back their money as quickly as possible.
Managing Director Andrew Flintham has sent an email to customers saying "sorry" for the way the UK's biggest tour operator had dealt with the situation.
The company told customers they had to wait until they received a credit note - which for some took weeks - before they could cash it in for their full refund.
