As the coronavirous pandemic continues its grip on Britain, live news programmes are continuing to conduct interviews via videolink.
TV reporters have adapted to the crisis by filming their segments in the comfort of their own home. This can sometimes lead to rather embarrassing live TV moments (think Edwina Currie’s surprise video bomb on Good Morning Britain).
And it appears that across the pond in the US, it’s much the same as it is here - with broadcasters having to improvise with their reports in their 'home studio'.
Spare a thought for California-based news reporter Melinda Meza, who has managed to make Edwina’s bathrobe incident pale in comparison.
