The Ireland East Hospital Group has confirmed that more than 600 people have arrived at a drop-in vaccination clinic for the over 50s at University College Dublin.
However, it said the clinic only has the capacity to deal with 100 people per hour, and it confirmed that some of those queueing will be turned away.
It advised that there is still capacity at the drop-in clinic in Gorey, Co Wexford this morning. In a post on Twitter, the Health Service Executive advised people not to attend the UCD clinic due to "very large queuing times".
It said the centre is now at capacity. A number of drop-in clinics for booster vaccines, as well as first and second doses, are in operation today. Read more:IT glitch causes multiple booster appointments,
