UEFA are considering completing this season’s Champions League and Europa League over a three-week period throughout August.
This is just one of the options that is being banded around as a solution to a problem caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, according to the Mirror.
Both competitions have been suspended indefinitely due to COVID-19 as the knockout stages were getting interesting. The Champions League was midway through its last-16 fixtures, while the Europa League was not too far behind.
The likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Wolves and Rangers, are all still involved in European competition but are having to wait to discover their fate.
