Coronavirus deaths in the UK have risen by 521 with a further 16,298 cases. The number of coronavirus deaths in the UK from all settings rose by a further 414 yesterday - taking the total past the grim milestone of 60,000.
A further 14,879 cases were also recorded on Thursday. Last Friday, November 27, a further 521 people lost their lives and an additional 16,022 positive tests were recorded.
The addition of positive cases today brings the total UK number of cases to 1,690,432. The total death toll is now 60,617. Today it was confirmed there have been a further 354 deaths from Covid-19 in UK hospitals in the past 24 hours - including a patient aged just 15-years-old.
