UK's top dogs return to Towcester for historic first racing since 2018

The return of greyhound racing at Towcester for the first time since 2018 is highly anticipated after the pandemic put a delay to the start of proceedings - and some of the nation's quickest racing dogs will descend on the Northamptonshire track for the historic day on Sunday.

The opening race of the day at 16.42 is an invitational race including some of the fastest greyhounds in the country - watch out for Tony Tuffin's Steel City Cup finalist  Deadly Expert (5/2)  who has great early pace and it would be a shock if he didn’t lead from the front.

This is despite strong competition in Sharon Thompson's Romford track record-holder Sparta Master (5/2), Mark Wallis' Coronation Cup champion  Antigua Rum (6/1)  and Hayley Keightley-trained  R
