Russia has escaped the worst of the coronavirus pandemic according to official figures – but rumours have been circulating that President Vladimir Putin has disappeared from public view.
With 2,337 infections and just 17 deaths, if the figures are to be believed, it looks as if Russia has been spared the worst of the killer bug.
