Walk-in weekend vaccination centres to cater for 12-15 year olds

The Health Service Executive has said it walk-in vaccination centres will cater for children 12 -15 for the first time this weekend.

In a statement the Health Service Executive said parents and guardians could bring children aged between 12 and 15 to receive either a first or second dose of a Covid-19 mRNA vaccine.

It said consent will be required from a parent or a legal guardian. Anyone from the age of 12 onwards can attend any of the vaccination clinics.

A full list of locations can be found on the HSE's website. Dose 2 clinics will also be open for those who are due their second doses of the vaccine.
