PHILADELPHIA - Police say several shots were fired in Point Breeze Saturday evening, leaving one man dead.The victim, a 45-year-old man, was reportedly shot multiple times on the 2000 block of Dickinson Street around 5:30 p.m.He was struck three times in the torso, once in the back and once in the leg, according to police.Police say he was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital. No arrests have been made, and no gun recovered.

House destroyed after night-long standoff. MONTGOMERY COUNTY - Officials say a shooter is dead, and a home completely destroyed after an hours-long standoff in Montgomery County.The standoff began around 8 p.m.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are on the scene after a man reportedly barricaded himself inside a home Saturday afternoon.A woman called 911 to report that the man shot her three times, according to police.When officers arrived at a house on the 5300 block of Akron Street, police say the man refused to come out.No word on the condition of the woman.This is a developing story.

UPPER CHICHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police say the pick-up truck that fatally hit a man walking on I-95 last weekend has been located in Delaware.A 44-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene after he was reportedly struck by a blue Ford F-150 on I-95 North in Upper Chichester Township on July 23.Police say the truck swerved onto the right shoulder when it hit the man, another truck and a motorcycle, then fled.Family later identified the victim as Maurice Pinkard, a father of six children. His wife Caprice said he was on his way to fill up her vehicle's tank when he was fatally struck.Maurice Pinkard, 44, was fatally struck by a vehicle on the shoulder of I-95 in Upper Chichester Township, Pennsylvania, his family says.  (The Pinkard Family)"He was just a family man and he worked so hard for us," Caprice said.

PHILADELPHIAnews - A man who fled from officers in his car, then on foot has been arrested and charged, according to Philadelphia police.Police saw multiple vehicles fleeing a parking lot on the 4000 block of Cottman Avenue Friday night when responding to reports of a person with a gun.A short time later, officers found a white sedan crashed in a rear alleyway on the 4000 block of Glendale Street. Police say a firearm was found inside.The driver, who reportedly fled on foot, was found by police on the 1300 block of East Lycoming Street.

PHILADELPHIA - Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery in North Philadelphia. According to police, the robbery occurred at the Dollar General store located at 2801 Ridge Avenue. Authorities say the duo walked into the store and one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and demanded money. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAbout $2,000 was taken from a register and safe and $70 was taken from a customer inside the store. Anyone with information on the robbery or suspects is urged to call police at 215-686-8477 or submit an anonymous tip online.

SHARON HILL, Pa. - An investigative report looking at Sharon Hill Borough's police policies and procedures in the wake of a police shooting that killed 8-year-old Fanta Bility last year was released late Friday, but the report was largely redacted, with any findings and recommendations obscured from public view.The three former officers who fired their weapons in the direction of a crowd leaving a high school football game just outside of Philadelphia, killing Bility and injuring three others, are facing manslaughter and reckless endangerment charges. The borough council voted to fire the officers and to hire an outside special counsel, promising accountability and transparency.The report was given to the borough council almost a month ago.

PHILADELPHIA - Police say a bicyclist is in critical condition after colliding with a car in Center City on Thursday night. According to authorities, the incident happened at 7:50 p.m. in the area of 23rd Street and Walnut Street. A bicyclist, 28, was traveling south on 23rd Street when a vehicle collided with the bicyclist at the intersection, police say. Officials say the driver remained on scene and medics transported the bicyclist to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he is in stable condition. According to police, the investigation is active and ongoing.

PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating a double shooting that left two injured on Friday morning. According to authorities, the shooting happened just before 5:30 a.m.

The three woman sought by police were captured on store surveillance video stuffing nearly $2k in wigs underneath their shirts.  GLOUCESTER TWP, N.J. - Police in Camden County are searching for three women who they say stole nearly $2k in wigs from a local beauty shop. The Gloucester Township Police Department shared a surveillance video of the three women inside Coco Beauty Supply on Berlin-Cross Keys Road on July 20. According to police, the suspects went to the back of the store and tried on wigs for several minutes. The women then stuffed nearly $2k worth of wigs underneath their shirts and left without paying, police said. Investigators are asking anyone with information on the suspects to contact the Gloucester Township Police Department. 

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. - A New Jersey woman was arrested after investigators said she posed as a state worker and knocked on a family's door to inquire about their infant daughter.Love Hodge, 29, was charged with Impersonating a Public Servant, Burglary and additional offenses. Officers from the Maple Shade Police Department were called to a home on Sunflower Path on July 23 for reports of a suspicious person. The caller told police that a woman came to her door claiming to be an employee with the New Jersey Department of Child Protection and Permanency. Police say the phony employee did not show identification or a business card, and inquired about the woman's 5-month-old daughter.

PHILADELPHIA - Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department are searching for a burglary suspect accused of stealing a safe from a North Philly pizzeria. According to authorities, the incident occurred on July 23 at 5:31 a.m. Police say the suspect entered through the front door of the pizzeria on the 100 block of Diamond Street. He then walked behind the counter and removed the safe with $20,000, according to officials. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAuthorities say the suspect was wearing a brown towel on his head and dark-colored clothing during the incident. Police released surveillance video and images of the suspect both inside and outside of the pizzeria. Anyone with information is urged to contact Philadelphia police at 215-686-8477 or submit an anonymous tip. Police say they are searching for the person seen here with a brown towel on their head and dark-colored clothing.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say a woman suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound to the leg when a fight inside a Philadelphia wedding spilled outside the venue. Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the 4200 block of McAllister Street around 9 p.m. for reports of gunshots. Police found a 26-year-old woman suffering a gunshot wound to the leg and brought her to Temple University Hospital where she was placed in stable condition, police said. Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters that a fight between mostly women broke out inside the wedding and spilled into the street when gunshot erupted. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESSmall said it's believed that both the victim and shooter were guests at the wedding.

PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that they say happened Wednesday night in South Philadelphia. At around 6:54 p.m., police say they responded to the 1800 block of Sigel Street for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, authorities say they found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the neck. Police transported the victim to Presbyterian Hospital where they say he was pronounced dead at 7:20 p.m. No arrest was made in this incident and no weapon was recovered.

LAWTON, Okla. - A city driver in Oklahoma got a morning surprise when a deer went flying through the windshield.City officials in Lawton said the incident happened in June and the driver was Alisha Sutton— who had only been on the job for 10 months. The city also released a video of the crash, saying the deer stood up immediately and Sutton opened the door to let it back out. "I was like, I guess I gotta slow this bus down," Sutton said in a news release. "I slowed it down and brought it to a stop right there in the road.

PHILADELPHIA - Police are looking for a man they say committed an armed robbery in East Germantown Tuesday afternoon.The suspect reportedly stole approximately $2,000 from WFSF Bank on the 5300 block of Chew Avenue around 1:20 p.m.Police say he was armed, and fled on foot into the 35th Police District.He was reportedly wearing a black baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, white sneakers, blue surgical mask and a purple glove on his left hand.No one was injured during the robbery.

Police looking for a man they say robbed a woman walking her dog. PHILADELPHIA - A Good Samaritan's brave act almost made them the victim of a shooting on a Center City street earlier this month.Police say a woman was walking her dog on the 700 block of Taney Street on July 12 when a man robbed her at gunpoint, taking her purse.A passerby started yelling as they saw the suspect following the woman, according to police.When they started walking towards the scene, the suspect reportedly fired his handgun in that direction.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - A Florida man is missing an eye after he was apprehended by a K9 following a traffic stop.  Terrell Bradley, 30, said his finger was also chewed up after he was apprehended by a Gainesville Police K9 following a traffic stop. After an investigation, the Gainesville Police Department has temporarily taken the K9 off duty. According to Gainesville Police, an officer tried to stop Bradley for a traffic violation two weeks ago.

Suspect sought in North Philadelphia robbery.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Police in Egg Harbor Township say a Philadelphia man has been arrested for an attempted luring of a child. According to authorities, police responded to Graef's Boat Yard at 101 Longport Boulevard on Sunday at 5:46 p.m.Officers met with two civilians who run a YouTube channel dedicated to catching child predators, police say. According to investigators, the YouTubers posed as an underage girl and they had messages they exchanged with 57-year-old Roger Tomes of Philadelphia. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESTomes thought he was communicating with a 15-year-old girl who he told to meet him on his boat in Egg Harbor Township to engage in sexual and illegal activities, police say. Police arrested Tomes and charged him with luring, according to officials. According to the Egg Harbor Township Police Chief, Tomes could face up to ten years in prison and a penalty of up to $150,000 if convicted. Anyone with any additional information is urged to contact police at 609-652-1234.

PHILADELPHIA - Three men were hospitalized early Tuesday morning after being shot in a drive-by shooting in Kensington, according to police. Authorities say the shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. Philadelphia Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters that officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 2500 block of Kensington Avenue. When police and medics arrived, they found a 34-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his legs. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he is in stable condition, per police. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESInvestigators later learned that a 25-year-old man and a 49-year-old man showed up at Episcopal Hospital with gunshot wounds, police say. According to Small, the 25-year-old was shot in the hand and leg and the 49-year-old man was shot in the leg. Authorities say they know all three victims were shot on the 2500 block of Kensington Avenue. According to officials, the 25-year-old was inside a mini-mart playing lottery games when he was struck by stray gunfire. Small says the 49-year-old is homeless and was asleep on the street when he was also struck. Authorities say the 34-year-old who was shot is an employee of the minimart who was outside talking to customers when he was shot. At least five gunshots were fired, according to police. The mini-mart has cameras and captured the shooting, Small says. According to investigators, the surveillance shows a light-colored four-door Sedan going north on Kensington Avenue with a person firing the gun from the back seat of the driver's side.

A 37-year-old woman fired several gunshots, apparently at the ceiling, inside of Dallas’ Love Field Airport on Monday before an officer shot and wounded her, authorities said.
