West Dunbartonshire Council is putting all upcoming meetings on hold in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.The decision was made last week, with cross-party support given to introducing a recess period until Friday, May 1.Council chiefs hope that the decision will allow the authority to focus their efforts on maintaining frontline service in response to the fast-moving, ongoing situation.The suspension will be kept under constant review to ensure that urgent planning and licensing matters will still be considered.Council leader Jonathan McColl said: “Covid-19 is unlike anything else experienced in our lifetime and we need to put all differences to one side, including politics, and work together to maintain our critical services and protect
