The Tower Bar in Craigshill is helping to support the community during lockdown.Manager Frank McAlister said the pub is ready to help anyone in the area who is in need.He said: “We saved the pub from demolition two years ago and ourselves and the community renovated it.“When they forced us to close I set up an action group made up of very trustworthy reliable friends from the local area.“It was about 14 of us to begin with but it grew fast.“For the old, the less able and single parents we have been doing full shopping lists, getting prescriptions and emergency repairs and lots of other stuff. “We helped a homeless girl move into her new house, have been delivering masks, gloves and soap and basically just about anything that’s asked of us.“
