Although we know it’s for the health and safety of everyone, we can’t help feel a little devastated over the postponement of the upcoming Westlife concerts.
The Irish boyband was due to perform in Cork in August, but due to the current global situation, the government has postponed all mass gatherings over 5000 people until autumn.
This will also include their tour dates for the UK, which have been cancelled and Westlife have released a statement apologising to their fans for having to push back and cancel their concerts.
Taking to their social media, the band wrote: ‘Following the Irish government’s announcement last night (extending the Irish ban on mass gathering until 31st August) the shows at Cork Pairc Ui Chaoimhe have been postponed
