When can I move house in Scotland once lockdown restrictions are eased?

Calls for clarity over the house buying and selling process in Scotland have been made by a leading professional body. Answers over when business can restart along with property inspections and valuations have been called for by the The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

They are asking the Scottish Government to provide more detail. As a result of coronavirus lockdown measures, the RICS say the markets have been impacted.

The figures, which come from the RICS UK Residential Market Survey for April 2020, suggest 80% of contributors have seen buyers and sellers pulling out of transactions on the housing market.
