Nicola Sturgeon will hold an urgent coronavirus press briefing later today as the number of cases in some part of Scotland have risen in recent days.
The First Minister is expected to address the situation in Clackmannanshire, which has now overtaken Glasgow with the highest number of infections in the country.
There is also concern over a high number of cases in East Renfrewshire. The situation in Glasgow is expected to be addressed as the city remains the only part of the country in level three lockdown.
