The organisers of the World Porridge Making Championship have been forced to move the competition online after the Scottish event was cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.
The annual event, which is now in its 27th year and was due to take place in the highland village of Carrbridge on Saturday 10 October, will now become a virtual competition with with the best recipe videos being published on the Golden Spurtle website on World Porridge Day on 10 October.
