One of the hundreds who attended a “Zero Ducks Given” beach party at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, has tested positive for Covid-19.
The Camden County Health Department revealed on Friday that a Boone County, Missouri, resident tested positive for coronavirus-19 after visiting the popular resort on May 23 and May 24.
The beach party attracted hundreds of revellers, who were packed together shoulder-to shoulder in popular local bar Backwater Jacks.
Few of them appeared to be wearing face masks. St Louis County Executive Sam Page said the partygoers’ “reckless” behaviour had risked slammed the hundreds of party-goers who crammed into pools, disregarding social distancing guidelines.
