There have been another 12 deaths of patients who previously tested positive for Covid-19 in Northern Ireland. A further 1,648 cases of the virus were also notified by the region's Department of Health.
On the same day, hospitals remained under pressure with 373 Covid-positive patients, of whom 41 were in intensive care. The push remains on to vaccinate as many people as possible against Covid-19.
Following the closure of the mass vaccination centre at the SSE Arena in Belfast, an outside facility has been set up in the arena car park and mobile units are being utilised across the region.
