24 Greater Manchester schools have had confirmed Covid cases since start of October half term

And while most schoolchildren returned to the classroom this week, hundreds are still isolating after confirmed cases among classmates, staff or both.Today's figures include Buile Hill Academy in Salford, where mock exams have been cancelled this week because a number of Year 11s are isolating following confirmed cases, and North Chadderton School, where a case has been confirmed in Year 12.Buile Hill's mocks will now take place from next Tuesday, with any pupils still isolating accessing the papers from home.At St John Fisher Catholic High in Wigan, all Year 8s are home learning.
