Aldi launches vegan steak bakes – and they're cheaper than Greggs

Since lockdown in the UK was implemented to stop the spread of coronavirus, many of our favourite restaurants and chains have shut down.

Greggs joined the likes of KFC and McDonald’s, leaving many bereft in the wake of a life with no bakes. Fortunately for many, the high-street brand shared their delicious secret recipe for making sausage, bean and cheese melts so we could make them at home.

Other intrepid cooks dished up their versions of steak and chicken bakes. Even those who don’t like to cook can enjoy a Gregg’s bake if they live near an Iceland.

As, the frozen food supermarket sells Gregg’s brand sausage rolls, corned beef bakes, bacon and cheese wraps and more. Most cost less than £2 for a box.
