Neil Gaiman and his wife Amanda Palmer have announced their shock split after nine years of their open marriage. The Good Omens writer and American singer-songwriter Amanda have separated, with Neil returning home to the UK and leaving his ex and their four-year-old son Ash in New Zealand.
Amanda announced the news on her Patreon page on Sunday evening after receiving a flurry of messages asking where Neil was. She then confirmed that she and Ash were spending lockdown together in New Zealand after Neil - author of Coraline, American Gods and The Ocean At The End Of The Lane returned home.
