Good Morning Britain weatherman Alex Beresford has endured the breakdown of his marriage just before lockdown. The popular presenter has spoken out about his loneliness during the coronavirus pandemic after his shock split with his wife Natalia Natkaniec.

The couple, who had been together for years and share 10-year-old son, Cruz, decided to go their separate ways just before the lockdown was introduced and are no longer living together.

An emotional Alex opened up about the split on on the Britain Get Talking podcast. He told newsreader Kylie Pentelow: "It's been a massive learning curve, I didn't think at the age of 20 that when I was approaching 40, I would be in this situation.
