Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.Almost 100 prisoners are isolating after a Covid-19 outbreak at HMP Addiewell.After speaking to prison officials The Courier can reveal there have been 86 prisoners who have returned positive tests as of today (February 16).The most recent Public Health Scotland data showed a spike in infections in West Lothian as a result of the outbreak at the jail.The coronavirus has been spreading in Scottish jails in recent weeks.It was revealed last night that almost 300 cons returned positive tests at HMP Kilmarnock.Prison bosses told The Courier that this may be the result of new mobile testing that is in operation.And that many of those testing positive.
