People have been asked to keep off the greens of a golf course when using the space during the coronavirus lockdown. In an open letter to residents, the company in charge of Altrincham Golf Course, Trafford Leisure, has asked people to respect it.
The course in the centre of Altrincham is over 100 acres of land, but Trafford Leisure has asked that the local community using it for daily exercise to take care.
In the letter the company said: "During these unprecedented times we welcome the local community to use the golf course for their daily exercise; be that walking the dog, taking a stroll or having a run, and Altrincham Golf Course is attracting a large number of people.
