Arsenal have confirmed that their players will be back in training as normal at their London Colney centre from next week. All Premier League clubs have closed down their training grounds amid the coronavirus pandemic, with players ‘working from home’.
However, as football targets a return, the Gunners are the first to announce they will be resuming normal service. Arsenal maintain they will still follow government guidance throughout the re-opening, insisting social distancing will be respected.
A club spokesperson said: “Players will be permitted access to our London Colney training grounds next week. “Access will be limited, carefully managed and social distancing will be maintained at all times. “All Colney buildings remain closed.
