Asda steps up Covid-19 restrictions in stores ahead of the Christmas rush

Asda is putting extra Covid-19 safety measures in place to over Christmas shopping period. These include more marshals on the doors as well as automatic customer counting systems to limit numbers in the busiest stores.

There are also new signs, new anti-microbial coatings on areas customers touch most frequently and its virtual queueing app Qudini is now available in all 421 superstores - letting people wait in the warmth of their cars rather than stand in line outside.
