Hospitals have been giving newborn babies plastic face shields to protect them from the deadly coronavirus. In Thailand, many hospitals have been seen equipping babies with the protection.

At the Praram 9 Hospital in Bangkok, pictures show nurses cradling babies with the mini visors in a bid to protect them from contracting the bug, reports Independent.

An image from the hospital in Bangkok showed two baby girls swaddled in blankets while wearing plastic shields over their faces, reports Mirror Online.

After the image was shared on social media, many people commented on how images of the newborns were both adorable and harrowing.
